The USB port doesn’t function, can NOT support other languages

The machine is so terrible that it does NOT support USB port. Furthermore, it does NOT support other languages than English. Also it used a free office software: Open Office, which is not very friendly.

If you are only working on word docs and not wanting to watch movies, edit movies with Movie Maker, and if you not wanting to edit your photos…. then this is a great computer project.
You can spend hours trying to get the computer to work, the computer is being sold as a 4 gig but the system only shows 3.
Service is very poor, I think it’s because they know it’s a sad computer.
Don’t play itunes while working on a word doc this computer is not good at multitasking.
I’ve had emails with the company… and after 3 dvd players and a local computer shop look at the computer…. The computer now rest on the self till it goes to some good will to be examined by the next person.
Oh I put a video card in… I spent more then the cost of this computer to have it looked at and dialed in…. there is no dialing in.
Yes I’m a real person who can not stand Vista and wanted to keep XP and was thinking this is the way to go….
But it’s not…. Don’t use you’re hard earned money in this direction… I know it’s tempting…. but don’t…

The computer worked well out of the box except the DVD-RW door would not open. It appeared to be jammed. I contacted the firm and received a polite reply the same day that they would send a replacement if I felt comfortable installing. I indicated that I would switch out the drives. A new drive arrived but it is not the correct style and will not fit in the cpu case. I sent a second email note about the problem but have not had a reply in over a week. Without access to the dvd drive I am limited to online software downloads until I purchase a new drive.

Everything was delivered as ordered. Computer works great and was exactly what I expected. Delivery was timely and absolutely no problem. As some other reviewers pointed out, the computer is a bit noisy, but not horrible and I would make this purchase again. Very satisfied!

The cp I received sound didn’t work. The tech support was very poor. After returning the product
“that cost me $28 to return” it took three weeks to put the money back on my card. I also lost my $25 bonus dollars. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!

The computer had no output to the monitor after initial boot up. Took a week to get a shipping label to return for repair. I then decided to return for refund and buy a computer from another online company. I did receive notice by email that I would get a refund.

the computer is wonderful does everything that it’s supposed to The only question that I have is that his picture shows a desktop tower type case and the computer came with flat case. if there were a choice I would’ve chosen a tower but other than that everything has been excellent

In truth the computer is everything the reviews good or bad said it would be. It came before the actual delivery date, and the PC is fast. My Windows Xp Professional Service Pack 2 disk is broken; so I’m currently waiting for a new one to come. The system reads 4 GB RAM but when in the properties says 2.99 GB RAM, but I checked the cards and it’s on point. I’m happy with the computer though I can’t get the program I bought it for to work…it’s a pro tools software with an interface plugged into the USB port, but that’s not a PC problem unless somethings wrong with the hard drive. After running a disk clean up a loud noise took place, but after closer look it’s the fan. Custom service is helpful…but if there’s further problems let’s see if their back their product.

The fan is a bit loud and the keyboard was definitely used, but other than that I love it. I would definitely recommend this product.

I called my grandson, who is 12 and know all about computers, and I told him I wanted something fast and a lot of memory,well he found it. This Dell is fast, its downloads in about 40 seconds , which my old one took about 15mins. It does everything I want to do. I ordered it on a Sunday and it was here by friday, thats fast service. I have always had fast service from amazon and everything I have ordered has been exactly what they said it would be.

This is just as it was described. It is a refurbished Dell Optiplex Pro GX 1 with 4 GB of Ram, 750 GB Hard Drive, and a DVD-RW Dual Layer. The computer performs well. It lacks a manual and the speakers could be stronger. It’s a great computer at a great price.
